This year, for the Fira Modernista, we invite you to join a guided tour through our Art Nouveau and industrial heritage. Travel back in time to the era of Catalan Modernism and industrialization, when the textile sector - specializing in the wool industry - was the driving force behind a unique architectural and cultural legacy in Catalonia. Old factories, mills, houses, warehouses, chimneys, and other structures provide a firsthand glimpse into the architecture, arts, and lifestyle of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Our route begins at the emblematic Teatre Principal and continues through the historic centre, unveiling the industrial and modernist heritage shaped by the powerful textile bourgeoisie of the time.
